In December 2025, Poland experienced a 2.5% year-on-year decline in producer prices, exceeding market predictions of a 2.2% decrease and surpassing the previously adjusted 2.3% drop recorded in November. This represents the most significant decline observed in a year, driven by sustained decreases in prices within manufacturing (-2.7% compared to -2.4% in November), mining and quarrying (-1.7% against -4.3%), and the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning (-1.7% versus -1.3%). Conversely, inflation increased slightly in sectors such as water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities, which rose to 1.7% from 1.4%. On a monthly scale, producer prices fell by 0.4%, overturning November’s 0.1% increase. Throughout 2025, producer prices were 1.6% lower than those in the previous year, 2024.
