FX.co ★ Finland Current Account Surplus Widens in December

Finland’s current account surplus expanded to EUR 1,207 million in December 2025, up from EUR 813 million in the same month a year earlier, marking the largest surplus since July. The goods account surplus increased to EUR 517 million, compared with EUR 429 million in December 2024. The services account surplus also grew, reaching EUR 105 million from EUR 80 million a year earlier, while the primary income account surplus widened to EUR 698 million from EUR 544 million. Additionally, the services account deficit narrowed to EUR 113 million, down from EUR 240 million in the previous year.
