Thailand’s imports jumped 29.4% year-on-year to a record high of USD 34.88 billion in January 2026, accelerating sharply from an 18.8% increase in the previous month and marking the 20th consecutive month of growth. This also represented the fastest expansion in imports since December 2022, driven by strong domestic demand supported by government measures aimed at stimulating spending.
