Turkey’s economic growth eased slightly in the fourth quarter of 2025, with gross domestic product expanding 3.4% year-over-year, down from 3.7% in the third quarter of 2025. The latest GDP figures, updated on 02 March 2026, indicate a modest loss of momentum as the year drew to a close.
Both the current and previous readings are based on year-over-year comparisons, measuring the change in output relative to the same quarter a year earlier. The Q3 2025 figure reflected a 3.7% increase compared with third quarter 2024, while the newly released Q4 2025 result shows a 3.4% rise versus the fourth quarter of 2024. This softening suggests that while Turkey’s economy continued to grow, the pace of expansion moderated at the end of 2025.
