FX.co ★ Australia Q4 GDP Growth Beats Estimates

The Australian economy grew by 0.8% quarter-on-quarter in Q4 2025, up from a revised 0.5% expansion in Q3 and above market expectations of 0.6%. This was the 17th consecutive quarter of growth, driven by robust domestic demand supported by both the private and public sectors. On an annual basis, GDP increased 2.6%, beating forecasts of 2.2% and following a 2.1% rise in Q3. It was the strongest yearly growth since Q1 2023.
