Brazil’s car production climbed 24.9% month-over-month in February 2026, reaching 204,300 units and rebounding from a 13.5% decline in January. Passenger car output increased 22.7%, while light commercial vehicle production jumped 34.8%. Truck manufacturing rose 14.5%, and bus production surged 48.5%. Despite the strong monthly performance, overall output was still down 8.2% compared with February 2025, reflecting the impact of weakening export demand.
