Poland Producer Prices Fall Slightly Less than Expected

Producer prices in Poland fell by 2.3% year-on-year in February 2026, a slightly smaller decline than market expectations of a 2.4% drop and an improvement from the 2.6% decrease recorded in January. Deflation in manufacturing moderated (−2.3% vs −3.0% in January), while price declines deepened in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector (−4.1% vs −1.6%). Meanwhile, price growth slowed in mining and quarrying (1.2% vs 2.3%), as well as in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (1.7% vs 2.0%). On a monthly basis, producer prices inched up 0.1% in February, following a 0.3% decline in January.
