The Czech Republic’s economy expanded by 2.7% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, marginally below the previously recorded 2.8% pace. The latest figures, updated on 31 March 2026, indicate a slight cooling in growth momentum at the end of the year.
Both the current and previous readings refer to year-on-year changes in GDP for the fourth quarter, comparing economic output to the same period a year earlier. While the deceleration from 2.8% to 2.7% is modest, it suggests that the strong expansion seen earlier has begun to lose a bit of steam, with growth still positive but edging lower as the year closed.
