The year-over-year comparison indicates that, despite avoiding contraction, Romania’s economic performance remains subdued, with no visible acceleration in the closing quarter of 2025. Both the “actual” and “previous” indicators for the fourth quarter of 2025 point to the same modest 0.2% rise versus a year earlier, suggesting that recent revisions have confirmed rather than altered the earlier picture of a sluggish but stable economy.
