Annual inflation in New Zealand was 3.1% in the December 2025 quarter, unchanged from the September quarter’s 1.5-year high and exceeding forecasts of 2.9%. On a quarterly basis, the CPI rose by 0.9%, up from a 0.6% increase in the previous quarter.
