According to the latest data updated on 27 May 2026, car registrations rose 5.50% year-over-year in April, down from a 6.00% year-over-year increase in March 2026. Both figures compare each month’s registrations to the same month a year earlier, highlighting a slight loss of momentum in the sector.
While the pace of expansion has moderated, the continued positive growth rate indicates that the Czech auto market remains on an upward trajectory, albeit at a slower clip than earlier in the spring.
