Croatia Inflation Rate at 4-Month Low

Croatia’s annual inflation rate eased to 4.5% in June 2026, down from 5.2% in May and reaching its lowest level since February, according to a preliminary estimate. Prices of non-food industrial goods excluding energy fell by 0.6%. In contrast, energy prices surged 13.2%, remaining heavily influenced by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Service prices increased by 8.1%, while the cost of food, beverages, and tobacco rose 1.8%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices declined 0.4% in June, after a 0.3% drop in May, marking a second consecutive monthly decrease following four straight months of increases.
