Norway House Price Up 0.4% MoM in June

House prices in Norway rose by 0.4% month-on-month in June 2026, accelerating from a 0.1% increase in May. A total of 11,757 homes were sold during the month, 2% fewer than in June of the previous year, while 12,028 homes were listed for sale, up 4% compared with June 2025.

The average time on the market fell to 40 days in June from 42 days in May. Properties sold fastest in Bergen and Stavanger, where the average selling times were 13 and 16 days, respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg recorded the longest selling time at 93 days.

Regionally, Porsgrunn/Skien posted the strongest monthly price growth, with an increase of 2.6%, followed by Bodø and Fauske at 1.8%. In contrast, Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg saw prices decline by 0.9%, marking the weakest performance among the regions.

On an annual basis, house prices rose 3.9% in June, the strongest year-on-year increase since January. For the period from January to June, prices were 5.5% higher than in the same period a year earlier.
