Estonia’s Consumer Prices Rebound in July, Ending Brief Deflation Spell

Estonia’s consumer price index (CPI) moved back into positive territory in July 2026, breaking a short-lived deflationary phase. Month-over-month, prices rose by 0.50% in July, a marked turnaround from June 2026, when CPI fell by 0.50%.

The latest data, updated on 7 August 2026, show that on a month-over-month basis the July increase fully offsets the previous month’s decline. In June, the “previous” indicator reflected a 0.50% drop compared with May, while the “actual” July reading indicates a 0.50% rise from June, signaling renewed upward pressure on consumer prices in Estonia as the summer progressed.
