Estonia’s Producer Prices Fall Further in July, Extending Deflationary Trend

Estonia’s producer price index (PPI) declined more sharply in July 2026, signaling continued downward pressure on factory-gate prices. On a month-over-month basis, PPI fell by 0.6% in July, compared with a 0.3% decrease in June 2026.

The data, updated on 21 August 2026, show that producer prices are moving deeper into negative territory, with the pace of decline doubling from the previous month. On this comparison basis, the “actual” figure reflects the change in prices between July and June, while the “previous” figure captured the change between June and May. The extended drop in producer prices may have implications for corporate margins and could feed into softer consumer price pressures in the months ahead.
