Colombia’s industrial confidence indicator rose by 6.2 percentage points in July 2026 to 6.1%, compared with the previous month. This was its highest level since October 2025 and the first positive reading since February. The monthly improvement reflected a 7.3-point increase in production expectations for the next quarter, to 37.7%; a 6.7-point reduction in inventories, to -6.7%; and a 4.6-point rise in the current volume of orders, to -26.2%. However, on an annual basis, the indicator was down 0.6 percentage points from July 2025.
