Futures on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 rose about 0.5%, both setting fresh record highs, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures advanced 0.4%.
AI infrastructure and hyperscaler stocks traded solidly higher in premarket activity, supported by ongoing deal-making that continued to fuel speculative interest in the technology. OpenAI was reported to be in talks with UAE investors for a $30 billion funding round, while Alphabet gained nearly 1% ahead of an agreement to purchase nuclear energy capacity from Constellation Energy, whose shares jumped 7%.
Advanced Micro Devices climbed 2% after CEO Lisa Su signaled robust demand for chips in the coming years. Cybersecurity names were also stronger, with Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and CrowdStrike each rising around 2% in premarket trading.
