Spain’s seasonally adjusted industrial confidence indicator improved again in October 2026, rising to -0.7 from -1.5 in September and reaching its highest level since June 2022. The indicator remains above its long-term average, a position it has maintained since December 2023, and is now 4.2 points higher than a year earlier.
Production expectations strengthened markedly for the second month in a row, increasing by 3.6 points to 8.4, the highest reading since September 2024. The order book indicator also advanced, up 1.4 points to -3.7, extending the upward trend observed since September 2025 and reaching its best level since July 2022.
After a sharp decline in the previous month, the inventory level indicator rose by 2.6 points to 6.7. At the same time, price pressures intensified, with the corresponding gauge jumping 14 points to 26.
