The data, updated on 2 November 2026, show that while the market continues to expand on an annual basis, the pace of growth has moderated compared with the previous month. Both the current and previous figures reflect year-over-year changes, measuring October and September 2026 sales performance against their respective levels a year earlier.
The slowdown suggests that although demand in the automotive sector remains robust in annual terms, momentum may be softening as the final quarter of 2026 begins.
