Armenia’s annual inflation rate stood at 4.3% in October 2026, unchanged from September. Price growth was stable in the education sector at 3.2%. Inflation accelerated slightly in several categories, including furnishings, household equipment, and routine maintenance (2.3% vs. 2.2% in September), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (7.6% vs. 7.5%), communication (0.3% vs. 0.2%), and restaurants and hotels (5.6% vs. 5.4%). Housing and utilities prices also rose at a faster pace, with inflation climbing to 3.5% from 2.1%.
At the same time, inflation slowed in food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.6% vs. 6.2%), clothing and footwear (4.2% vs. 4.6%), health (3.2% vs. 3.3%), transport (2.4% vs. 2.8%), recreation and culture (0.7% vs. 0.8%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.6% vs. 2.9%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.3% in October, following a 0.2% increase in September.
