Republicans to win

The US presidential elections will take place in 2024. Elon Musk thinks that the odds are very much in favor of the Republicans. Interestingly, the billionaire is betting on Donald Trump, even though the ex-US President is currently facing several criminal charges. Current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also has a fair chance of winning the election if he decides to run against Joe Biden, Elon Musk expanded on the matter.

SpaceX to become monopolist

According to Elon Musk's forecasts, starting next year, his company SpaceX will be responsible for delivering more than 90% of all payloads into orbit. The SpaceX CEO is confident that after the successful launch of the new Starship rocket, SpaceX's share in this area will reach almost 100%. He also mentioned that the first launch of Starship with some payload is scheduled for the first half of 2024.

Optimus to operate at Tesla facilities

In the early autumn, Tesla acknowledged significant progress in training the humanoid robot Optimus. In this connection, Elon Musk promised that androids will be incorporated into production at his car manufacturing factories in the near future. The first fully powered robot Optimus is expected to be rolled out by the end of this year. Therefore, a completely new era could begin for Tesla as early as next year.

Popularity of robotaxis

Elon Musk also expects the production of robotaxis by Tesla to click into gear next year. He stated that self-driving cars, which are not equipped with a steering wheel and pedals, will make up the lion’s share of all e-vehicles produced by his company. Moreover, the Tesla CEO says that taxi fares charged by robotaxis will be significantly lower than subway fares. Therefore, the businessman is certain that people will appreciate the advantages of robotaxies which will make this type of transport more affordable to the public.
