In 2016 the edition assigned fewer points to Volkswagen and set the brand on the 20th place. A year ago the German motor manufacture took the 18th place in the list.

According to the data of AutoBild, the quality of Skoda automobiles has declined for the third straight year. Last year this Czech brand took the 14th place of the list. In 2016 it contents with the 19th and the 20th positions – Skoda and Volkswagen have got the equal number of points.

The French brand Citroen, which took the 17th place last year, has lain on the 18th place .

In 2016 the French brand is situated on the same place with the Spanish brand Seat. A year earlier it was by six positions higher.

The Fiat brand, lien on the 20th position in 2015, has taken the 16th place.

The 15th place is one more representative of France – Peugeot. The producer upraised by one position in the rating during the year.

Ford, raised from the last year's 18th place, has taken the 14th position this year.

The French brand Renault shares the 13th and the 14th places with Ford – the automakers has got the same number of points.

The 10th, 11th and 12th places were shared between three automobile brands – Audi, BMW and Dacia.

Last year Audi shared the 14th position with Skoda.

The figures of one of the most well-known German automobile brands – BMW – declined in 2016. A year earlier the brand took the 7th place.

Last year the Rumanian brand Dacia also shared the same position with BMW.

The 9th place was given to Nissan. The model held steady – last year it took the same position.

The Mercedes-Benz brand, which took the 10th place of the list in 2015, has fixed on the 8th and the 7th positions today (it shares them with Opel).

In the last year's rating Opel took the 11th place.

The 6th place belongs to Volvo. One of the safest cars has kept its position of the last year.

The 4th and the 5th position were given to Toyota and Kia. Last year the Japanese brand took the third place.

In 2015 Kia shared the first place with Mazda.

MINI is on the third place. The brand is a newcomer of the AutoBild's rating.

The first and the second positions are shared between Mazda (the brand also took the place last year) and Hyundai.

The automaker Hyundai also took the first positions in the ratings of 2010 and 2011.
