The fourth place goes to Munich Airport, launched on May 17, 1992. It was built to ensure the transportation of a growing flow of passengers, as Munich-Riem airport no longer coped with these tasks.
Munich serves as a major hub for Air Berlin, Lufthansa, and Condor.
The fifth best airport of the world, Hong Kong International serves as home to Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, Dragonair, Hong Kong Express Airways, Air Hong Kong, Kalitta Air, and UPS Airlines.
Hong Kong International Airport serves over 100 airlines operating flights to about 180 locations worldwide, including 44 destinations on the Chinese Mainland. It is a former, multiple winner of the Airport of the Year title at the World Airport Awards.
