For the fifth year in a row, Changi, the main airport of Singapore, is the first among the world's best airports. Changi serves as home to Singapore Airlines, Silkair, Tigerair, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Scoot, and others.

Since its opening in 1981, the airport has become an example in the aviation industry, having received over 280 awards. The airport development policy is built on the solution of the task of servicing the increasing passenger traffic while maintaining high standards.

The second place belongs to Tokyo Haneda International Airport. Haneda is one of two major international airports that serve the Tokyo area. It is located a few miles from the heart of the Japanese capital.

Haneda handles almost all domestic flights to and from Tokyo. However, in recent years the international terminals have been expanded because of regular charters in Seoul (South Korea), Shanghai (PRC), and Hong Kong.

Incheon International Airport is on the third place in top 5 best airports. The airport is located on an island just outside of the South Korean capital. It is the largest airport in the country and one of the busiest airports in the world.

Incheon International Airport is the main hub for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.The airport has a golf course, spa, private sleeping rooms, a casino, and indoor gardens.

The fourth place goes to Munich Airport, launched on May 17, 1992. It was built to ensure the transportation of a growing flow of passengers, as Munich-Riem airport no longer coped with these tasks.

Munich serves as a major hub for Air Berlin, Lufthansa, and Condor.

The fifth best airport of the world, Hong Kong International serves as home to Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, Dragonair, Hong Kong Express Airways, Air Hong Kong, Kalitta Air, and UPS Airlines.

Hong Kong International Airport serves over 100 airlines operating flights to about 180 locations worldwide, including 44 destinations on the Chinese Mainland. It is a former, multiple winner of the Airport of the Year title at the World Airport Awards.
