The wave structure here is still building its order downwards; the MACD indicator used has already moved to the upper purchase zone, but this circumstance has not helped much growth yet. Last week, sellers dominated, and in general, the US dollar was weakening on the market. At the beginning of last week, they tried to develop growth, but the price stopped, and it all fizzled out. The most interesting thing that happened here is that the price was able to go up from the side range limited by strong levels at the top and bottom. The resistance level of 144.94 was broken through and consolidated above; this indicated an increased probability of developing further growth. The target of the expected growth was the area of the maximum of last May, that is, the area of the resistance level of 148.45. In addition, what can be noted here is the formed figure of uncertainty—a narrowing triangle. The price reached its upper border and after a little while flew up, thereby making a provocation to buy. Well, as it was written above, the price did not go up; it was dropped again. Even the support level of 144.94 did not help to resume growth; the price consolidated a little below it. I still adhere to the growth option because. The American dollar is inclined to strengthen in the near future in general on the market, so far to make a correction after weakening. So far, the price has support in the form of an ascending support line, but even if the price consolidates below it, this is not a reason to sell because, in general, in the market, I think the dollar will strengthen; there are technical justifications for this. Well, for example, the same main pairs, euro-dollar and pound-dollar, have fat bearish divergences on the daily chart on MACD, a high probability of decline, and here, as on the enemy pair, growth, respectively. For now, I decide for myself that in shorter periods it is better to work formations only in growth; in my opinion, this looks quite reasonable.
