Stryker Snaps Up Inari Medical For $80 Per Share

Inari Medical Inc. (NARI), a company specializing in medical devices, is set to be acquired by Stryker (SYK) for $80 per share in cash. This acquisition values Inari at approximately $4.9 billion.

Inari is known for its innovative products designed to enhance outcomes for patients with venous thromboembolism and various vascular conditions, including chronic venous disease, small vessel thrombosis, arterial thromboembolism, and chronic limb-threatening ischemia. This acquisition has received unanimous approval from the boards of directors of both Stryker and Inari.

This transaction offers Stryker a strategic entry into the rapidly growing peripheral vascular market and is expected to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of 2025, following standard regulatory approvals.

When Inari was featured on our site on August 2, 2024, its shares were trading at $47.23. If you had invested at that time, you would now have seen a 69% return, based on Stryker's acquisition price.
