In February 2025, the average weekly earnings of non-agricultural workers in Canada experienced a 5.4% increase compared to the previous year, reaching C$1,298.22. This follows a 5.6% rise recorded in January. Significant salary increases were observed in certain sectors: finance and insurance rose by 12.7%, reaching C$1,788.36; information and cultural industries saw an 8.0% increase to C$1,333.74; mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction had a 5.9% rise to C$2,429.20; and health and social assistance increased by 5.8% to C$1,156.67. However, there was a slight decline in the real estate trade sector, where earnings fell by 0.3% to C$733.33.
