Bosnia and Herzegovina Industrial Output Falls at Slower Pace

Industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina experienced a moderate decline of 0.6% in March 2025, compared to the significant 6.1% decrease observed the previous month. The output for intermediate goods saw a reduced decline of 3.4%, improving from February’s 6.7% drop. Similarly, there was a slight improvement in consumer durables, which decreased by 22% compared to the previous drop of 22.3%. Energy production, however, showed impressive growth at 7.7%, up significantly from 0.2%, while the output for capital goods displayed a robust rebound of 5.9%, recovering from a 10.8% decline. On the downside, consumer non-durables continued to see a decline, falling by 7.5%, further down from February's 5.5% decrease. On a seasonally adjusted month-to-month basis, industrial production fell by 1.3% in March, reversing the 0.3% increase recorded in February.
