FX.co ★ Tunisia Inflation Rate Falls to Over 4-Year Low

Tunisia's annual inflation rate slightly decreased to 5.3% in July 2025, marking the lowest level since May 2021, down from 5.4% previously. This reduction was primarily driven by a deceleration in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, which decreased to 5.9% compared to 6.4% in June. Other categories within the Consumer Price Index (CPI) also experienced softer increases, including clothing and footwear, which decreased to 9.1% from 9.3%, furnishings and household equipment, down to 5.2% from 5.4%, and recreation and culture, which slightly dropped to 5.9% from 6%. On a monthly scale, consumer prices rose by 0.3% in July following a 0.4% increase the previous month.
