FX.co ★ Vietnam Tourist Arrivals Soar 35.7% YoY in July

In July 2025, international arrivals to Vietnam experienced a notable increase, rising 35.7% compared to the same month last year, reaching a total of 1.56 million tourists. This growth represented an acceleration from the 17.1% increase observed in June. A significant portion of this influx came from Asian countries, with an overall rise of 31.9%, driven by substantial growth from the Philippines (70%), Laos (60.4%), China (56.9%), India (53.3%), and Cambodia (44.2%). Meanwhile, visitor numbers from the Americas saw an 18.8% uplift, heavily influenced by a 47.9% increase in tourists from Canada. European tourists also showed significant growth, with overall numbers surging 86.2%. This was highlighted by remarkable increases from Russia (288.7%), the Netherlands (107.4%), France (60.6%), Switzerland (59%), and Poland (53.3%). Additionally, arrivals from Australia rose by 25.7%, while those from Africa increased by 25.4%. Cumulatively, for the first seven months of 2025, international arrivals to Vietnam soared by 22.5%, totaling 12.23 million visitors.
