Industrial output in Slovenia remained unchanged in August 2025 after experiencing a revised growth of 0.5% in July. Growth rates in the mining and quarrying sector slowed to 3%, down from 7% in the previous month, while output in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector dropped significantly by 17.9% compared to a decline of just 0.2% in July. Conversely, the manufacturing sector saw an increase in output, rising to 1.8% from 0.5%. On a month-to-month comparison, industrial activity fell by 0.6% in August 2025, negating the revised 1.6% growth observed in July.
