Serbia Current Account Gap Widens in November

In November 2025, Serbia's current account deficit expanded to $645 million, a noticeable increase from the revised figure of $230 million reported in the same period the previous year. The deficit in the goods account grew to $712 million, up from $524 million. Concurrently, the surplus in the services sector decreased to $244 million from its previous $305 million. Additionally, the primary income gap saw a significant rise to $605 million compared to $470 million, and the secondary income surplus slightly fell to $429 million from $459 million. For the first eleven months of 2025, Serbia recorded a current account deficit of $3,921 million, higher than the $3,340 million seen in the same timeframe a year earlier.
