Hey traders Sharing my quick thoughts on GBPUSD based on the current chart action. Price is hovering around the 1.3650–1.3660 zone, and honestly this area is starting to feel pretty important. From what we can see, the pair recently tried to push higher but got rejected near the 1.3690–1.3700 region. That rejection came with strong bearish candles, which tells me sellers are still active up there and bulls are struggling to keep control.
If you zoom out a bit, price looks like it was forming a short-term higher high, but momentum faded fast. The recent drop looks more impulsive than corrective, which usually hints that the market might want to test lower levels again before any proper bounce. Right now, 1.3650 is acting like a minor support, but it’s not very strong in my opinion. We’ve already seen price respect this area once, so a second test could either give a small bounce or break it clean. Below current price, I’m watching 1.3620–1.3600 as the next key demand zone. There’s previous structure there, and if price reaches that area, buyers might step in for a short-term pullback. However, if that zone fails, things could get ugly quickly and we might see further downside continuation.On the upside, any recovery toward 1.3680–1.3700 looks like a selling opportunity rather than a clean buy setup, unless price breaks and closes strongly above 1.3700. A solid bullish close above that level would change the bias and open the door for 1.3740+, but right now that feels less likely. Overall bias for me is slightly bearish to neutral in the short term. I wouldn’t jump into random trades here. Best approach is patience: either wait for a clear break below 1.3650 for continuation sells, or wait for price to dip into strong support and show bullish confirmation before thinking about buys.
