Gold 5-Minutes Analysis: We are currently examining and debating how the price of gold behaves. Even though gold fell a lot yesterday, it's too soon to declare a total turnaround. Furthermore, a shift to the bearish position still requires complete confirmation of technical indicators. The pair executed its first intraday sell signal yesterday and is currently experiencing local consolidation, but certain signals on the hourly chart point to additional declines. The sentiment that follows depends on a breakthrough or rebound as the pair gets closer to a test of the Bollinger band average from below. Given the similarities to the Graphical Interpretation of Price (GIP), which indicates short-term negative momentum, a downward impulse followed by consolidation indicates an upcoming second downward impulse, making the bearish scenario a priority. When the pair moves into the Bollinger Channel's negative zone and tries to consolidate, the four-hour chart indicates that the buy signal has been cancelled. Given the current bearish pressures, a wider decline could occur in the near future if this trend continues. However, the complexity of gold makes it difficult to forecast major moves. However, there is a tendency in favour of a negative trajectory. The market's reaction to the release of US inflation statistics showing a rise was disappointing since, despite higher inflation and lower chances of a June rate decrease, expectations of a strong US currency surge did not materialise. The focus of analysts has switched to upcoming producer price and retail sales data. Gold quotes on the four-hour chart rose off the yellow moving average despite a bearish downturn, suggesting possible upward advance backed by indications pointing to a positive trend. There is currently a significant chance that prices will strengthen in the direction of the upper trading range around 4022.70. Further rising momentum could result in a local maximum update at 4022.70 if bulls break through the moving average family; an advance over the 4022.70 level seems likely.
