AUDUSD 15-Minutes Analysis: Following the recent decline, AUDUSD is consolidating on the 15-minute chart. The price is fluctuating within a range. This research revolves around the RSI, which is now trapped in a neutral zone at 44, meaning that neither buyers nor sellers are winning. Around 0.71201, the candlestick pattern has been displaying many doji and spinning tops, suggesting indecision and weariness from the prior bearish move. These tiny candles with about equal wicks indicate that neither bulls nor bears can commit, which is frequently a sign of a larger move once equilibrium is upset. Uncertainty is the psychology at play here; traders are awaiting a more definitive signal from the larger picture. Because of the numerous tests of the 0.71156 support, a cluster of stop losses has probably accumulated below it, making it a target for a stop hunt or liquidity grab by larger players. Aggressive sellers could be trapped, and a short covering rally could be sparked by a false break below this level and a swift turnaround. On the other hand, buyers will remain frustrated if they are unable to break above 0.71317, and they might quit if their stops above that level are reached prior to a real breakout. A breakthrough from this compression is a crucial scenario. Buyers will indicate strength and pave the door to the 0.71472 resistance zone if they can close above 0.71317 with RSI over 55. Failure to maintain above the psychological barrier of 0.71177 invalidates this optimistic prognosis. However, if the price closes below 0.71156, aiming for 0.71011 support, and the RSI breaks below 40, a bearish scenario will occur. This implies that the consolidation is merely a stop in the larger trend. If the RSI is near 40, the AUDUSD trend on the 15-minute chart is neutral to slightly negative. Further declines are possible because the signal is indicating a slight bearish momentum that hasn't yet reached oversold. Only a big momentum candle closing above 0.71317 and an RSI above the midline will validate a bullish change. The market is in a precarious balance that is vulnerable to abrupt movements brought on by stop runs until either of these occurs.
