Gerchik & Co is in fact a Russian forex and CFD broker. Aleksandr Gerchik, a Russian trader, holding the post of the company president, founded Gerchik & Co together with his students, Ivan Kroshny and Andrey Zhiloy. The broker works primarily with traders from Russia and Ukraine.
A few words about Aleksandr Gerchik. He is one of the most popular traders in the post-Soviet space. He had a chance to work on Wall Street in the United States and at FINAM Investment Company in Russia where he was engaged in the system of trust management. Gerchik also taught courses for beginners in the financial markets.
Although the company is not licensed by the Central Bank of Russia, a current regulator of the forex industry in the country, the broker continues to operate in Russia. This is possible because the company is registered in the offshore area of Belize and regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC/60/400/TS/17). Belize is a popular offshore direction for forex brokers where the control is not as strict as in Great Britain or Australia, for example. Gerchik & Co offers five types of active trading accounts: Mini, Simple, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Algorithmic trading, a leverage of up to 1:100, as well as services of risk management are accessible on all of them. On Mini account, minimum deposit starts with $500. This is not the most favorable offer in the industry, since brokers offer $100 on the average, but you can as well find an offer of $1.
