Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) announced that it is currently investigating outages affecting several Office applications and cloud services.
"We are currently looking into issues with access and degraded performance across multiple Microsoft 365 services and features. For more details, refer to MO842351 in the admin center," stated a Microsoft post.
The problem is affecting various Microsoft 365 services and features, including popular productivity applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, as detailed in a post on social network X on Tuesday morning.
At this time, the issue appears to be affecting users globally but only impacts a subset of Microsoft's services.
"We are investigating reports of global connectivity issues with Microsoft services. Users may experience timeouts when connecting to Azure services," noted the company's update on the Azure status page.
"Our engineering teams are actively engaged in diagnosing and resolving the issue. We will provide more information as it becomes available," Microsoft added.
