Turkey witnessed a decline in annual producer inflation to 22.50% in April 2025, a decrease from the previous month's 23.50%. This marks the eleventh consecutive month of slowing inflation and represents the lowest rate since October 2020. The deceleration was observed across key sectors, with mining and quarrying inflation reducing to 29.59% from 30.89%, manufacturing easing to 22.65% from 23.14%, and the inflation for electricity, gas, and steam significantly dropping to 14.45% from 21.15%. However, inflation within the water supply sector saw a slight increase to 58.14% from 58.02%. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 2.76%, representing the most substantial rise in three months, following a 1.88% increase in March.
