Peru’s GDP grew by 3.83% year-on-year in December 2025, up from 1.53% in November, with most sectors contributing positively to the expansion. The main drivers were manufacturing (4.58%), wholesale trade (4.89%), agriculture (2.48%), and a particularly strong increase in construction (12.0%).
Additional growth came from transport (3.78%), public administration and defense (4.34%), business services (3.46%), restaurants and hotels (4.28%), utilities (2.65%), and fishing (0.6%). In contrast, output contracted in mining and hydrocarbons (-2.18%), financial services (-0.2%), and telecommunications (-0.98%).
Total goods exports rose by 13.41%, supported by higher shipments of both traditional products (13.85%) and non-traditional products (12.31%). On a month-on-month basis, the economy expanded by 0.56%. For the full year, GDP increased by 3.44%.
