Both the current and previous figures reflect year-over-year comparisons, measuring how retail turnover in each respective month has changed relative to the same month of the prior year. The step-up from May’s 3.30% rise to June’s 4.80% suggests Latvian consumers continued to increase spending, adding momentum to domestic demand heading into the second half of 2026.
