Foreign trade data from the euro area and final consumer prices from France are the primary economic highlights scheduled for Friday.
At 2:00 AM ET, Statistics Sweden will release consumer price data for May. It is anticipated that inflation will decelerate to 3.5 percent from April's 3.9 percent.
At 2:45 AM ET, France's statistical office, INSEE, will present the final consumer price index and harmonized consumer price data. Preliminary estimates indicated that consumer price inflation remained steady at 2.2 percent in May.
At 4:00 AM ET, Italy's foreign trade data will be released. The trade surplus is expected to decrease slightly to EUR 4.25 billion in April from EUR 4.34 billion in March.
Thirty minutes later, the Bank of England will publish the results of its Inflation Expectations survey.
At 5:00 AM ET, Eurostat will release euro area foreign trade data for April. Economists are predicting that the trade surplus will shrink to EUR 15.7 billion from the EUR 24.1 billion recorded in March.
