The E.W. Scripps Company (SSP) announced on Thursday a second-quarter loss of $13 million, or $0.15 per share, compared to a loss of $682.4 million, or $8.10 per share, in the same period last year.
The reduced loss this quarter primarily stemmed from lower restructuring costs and operating expenses, along with the absence of any charges related to goodwill impairment.
Revenue fell to $573.6 million, down from $582.8 million in the previous year.
