BJ's Wholesale Club (NYSE: BJ) announced on Tuesday the opening of its inaugural location in Kentucky. The new store, situated at 4807 Outer Loop in Louisville, will officially open its doors on January 31, marking the company's 250th club nationwide.
This new club will include BJ's Gas Station, which provides competitively priced fuel and additional savings through the Fuel Saver Program. Additionally, BJ's has entered into a partnership with the Dare to Care Food Bank, committing to weekly donations of unsold products. To date, BJ's has contributed over $57,000 to support the South Louisville mobile pantry initiative.
Members are set to benefit from up to 25 percent savings on grocery items, with a risk-free membership offering. Enhanced shopping experiences, such as curbside pick-up and ExpressPay, are also available to save time.
On the New York Stock Exchange, BJ's shares are trading at $97.08, reflecting a 2.14 percent increase, equivalent to a gain of $2.03.
