In March 2025, South Korea's Business Survey Index (BSI) for the manufacturing sector climbed to 68, an increase from 65 in February, achieving its highest mark since November. Similarly, the Composite Business Sentiment Index (CBSI) across all industries saw an uptick of 1.4 points, reaching 86.7. However, the forecast for the upcoming month showed a decline, dropping by 2.4 points to 85.6. Within the manufacturing sector, production rose to 82 from February's 80. Furthermore, new orders advanced to 76 from 74, inventory conditions improved to 104 from 103, and the financial situation index elevated to 89 from the prior 78.
