In March 2025, new vehicle sales in Brazil rose by 5.7%, reaching 195,536 units, following an 8% increase in February. Despite the prevailing high interest rates, car rental companies continue to experience strong demand, and there has been an increase in credit issuance, driven by future uncertainties related to international import tariffs. At the same time, vehicle exports fell by 19%, totaling 38,900 units when compared to the previous month.
