In June 2025, Argentina's consumer confidence index experienced a slight decrease to 45.48, down from 45.49 in May. Despite this minor decline, it still represented the fourth-highest level recorded in the year, though it remained below January's peak of 47.38, which marked a 14-month high. On a positive note, two out of the three sub-indices showed increased optimism when compared to the previous month. Specifically, there was a rise in purchase intentions for durable goods, moving up to 36.61 from 35.34, alongside an improvement in perceptions of the macroeconomic situation, which increased to 53.93 from 52.21. However, there was a noted rise in pessimism regarding evaluations of personal financial situations, which dipped slightly to 45.89 from 46.49. Compared to the same period last year, the Consumer Confidence Index showed a significant increase of 22.15%.
