In June 2025, Croatia saw a 2.1% year-on-year increase in industrial production, building on a 1.7% rise in May. Notably, there was a recovery in output for the mining and quarrying sector, which improved to 3% from a decline of 3.3% in May. Similarly, the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply sector saw a modest rebound of 0.5%, compared to an 11.9% decrease previously recorded. However, the manufacturing sector experienced a slowdown, with its growth rate dropping to 3.3% from 4.9%. This deceleration was particularly evident in the production of food, tobacco, textiles, and leather-related products. On a monthly basis, when adjusted for seasonal variations, industrial production decreased by 1.4% in June, which is a slight improvement from the 2.9% drop in the prior month.
