The Turkish manufacturing sector experienced a boost in September 2025, reaching 74.0% production capacity. This marks a recovery after three months of decline and represents an increase from 73.5% in August. The uplift was driven by enhanced capacity utilization in sectors producing investment goods, which rose to 70.7% from 68.1%, and intermediate goods, which edged up to 74.9% from 74.7%. On the other hand, the utilization rates experienced decreases in the food and beverages sector, down to 72.3% from 73.0%, consumer goods, decreasing to 71.8% from 72.1%, and non-durable consumer goods, which fell to 72.1% from 72.5%. The utilization rate for durable consumer goods held steady at 70.3%.
