In the fourth quarter of 2025, industrial capacity utilization in Sweden stood at 88.2%, a decline of 0.6 percentage points from 88.8% in the previous quarter. The rate remained significantly below the full-capacity benchmark of 100%, indicating that a considerable portion of industrial resources continued to be underutilized. Among the factors contributing to the lower utilization, “production disruptions” showed the largest decrease, dropping 4.6 percentage points to 20.0%. By contrast, the category “other” recorded the largest increase relative to the previous quarter, rising 3.6 percentage points to 13.8%. On an annual basis, and after adjustment for calendar effects, capacity utilization in Swedish industry rose by 0.7 percentage points compared with the same quarter a year earlier, reaching 87.8%.
