FX.co ★ North Macedonia Jobless Rate Drops to 11.4% in Q4

The unemployment rate in North Macedonia declined to 11.4% in the fourth quarter of 2025, down from 11.9% in the same period a year earlier. The number of unemployed persons fell by 0.4% year-on-year to 91.4 thousand, with men representing 57.9% and women 42.1% of the total. At the same time, the employment rate rose to 46.8% from 46.2%, as the number of employed persons increased by nearly 9 thousand to 709.5 thousand. The labor force participation rate inched up to 52.8% from 52.5% a year earlier. In the third quarter of 2025, the unemployment rate stood at 11.5%.
