The latest figures, updated on 27 February 2026, indicate that the country’s annual growth momentum neither accelerated nor slowed in the final three months of the year.
The GDP data are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing the fourth quarter of 2025 with the same period a year earlier. Similarly, the previous reading compared the third quarter of 2025 with the third quarter a year before. The unchanged rate suggests that Latvia entered the end of the year with broadly consistent economic conditions, with no significant shift in overall growth dynamics over the second half of 2025.
